Pomme Frites avec Truffle Oil

Serves 1 hungry blogger:)

4 potatoes ( cut in half then in thirds)

1/8 cup + 1/4 cup truffle oil 

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp garlic powder 

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/8 cup parm cheese

1 tsp dry basil

3TBs butter

Heat over. To 450 degrees 

Cut potatoes and out in a bowl with a couple cups of ice cubes- let sit for 1/2 hour then pat dry

Toss with spices then add oil and line baking sheet with foil or parchment paper . Cook for 40 minutes or do until crisp( turn half way ) 

Drizzle butter and parm cheese and serve 

Little work but damn good – truffle oil is the bomb … Buy it!… A little goes along way and the flavor is crazy !!!Earthy and luscious.  Serve with a nice steak or some crusty French bread with major cheese going slmovet the place !
