Cavatelli and Broccoli in a roasted garlic and ricotta cream sauce

Serves 3-4 people

13 oz. cavatelli

1 cup ricotta cheese

3 cups broccoli

8-12 cloves garlic

2 TBs butter

Pinch of red pepper flakes

In foil , add garlic, drizzle of oil and salt and pepper. Close up and put in a 375 degree oven for 45 minutes. Steam broccoli and cook pasta . Smash garlic up.

Reserve 1 cup of pasta water.

Add pasta, cheese, butter,flakes, garlic and broccoli and stir. Add a little of the pasta water until you like the consistency of the sauce.

That’s some good eats! I mash up the broccoli pretty good- almost like a diced broccoli. Add more flakes for heat .
